Coulomb's constant
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001379
A proportionality constant, denoted as 'k', used in Coulomb's Law to relate the electrostatic force between two charged particles to their charges and the distance between them. Its value depends on the medium in which the charges are located. In a vacuum, its approximate value is 8.9875 × 10^9 N·m²/C².
