Disconnector

A mechanical switching device in an electrical power system that isolates a circuit or equipment from the power source for maintenance or safety purposes. It is designed to open an electrical circuit only when there is no current flowing, preventing arcing. Disconnectors are typically operated manually and do not have current-breaking capabilities.
