Double track
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001806
A railway line consisting of two parallel tracks, one for trains traveling in each direction, allowing for simultaneous movement and increased capacity. This configuration reduces delays by eliminating the need for trains to wait in sidings for opposing traffic to pass.
