  "definition": "A textile spinning fault in which waste fibres accumulate on the drafting rollers of a spinning machine, usually on the rubber cots covering the top rollers. The deposit disturbs the drawing of the fibre strand, so the yarn becomes uneven or breaks. Cots made from compounds with low static charge are less prone to the buildup.",
