Drawing frame

A machine in textile spinning that combines and attenuates several slivers of fibers into a single, more uniform sliver. This process, known as drawing, straightens and parallels the fibers, improving their evenness and strength before they are spun into yarn. It reduces variations in thickness and fiber orientation.
