Fly-in

A method of transporting workers to remote construction sites, particularly in areas with limited road access. Personnel are flown to the site, often on a rotational basis, to perform their duties for a set period before being flown out. This approach is common for projects in isolated regions such as northern Canada or offshore oil platforms, where helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft are the primary means of access.
