Free-fall time

The duration it takes for an object to fall a certain distance under the influence of gravity alone, assuming no air resistance. This time is dependent on the height from which the object is dropped and the acceleration due to gravity. On Earth, the acceleration due to gravity is approximately 9.81 meters per second squared.
