Greige

Describing fabric or yarn that is in its raw, unfinished state, directly after weaving or knitting and before any dyeing, bleaching, or finishing treatments. This material retains its natural color and texture, often appearing off-white or light beige. Greige goods are then processed further to achieve their final desired characteristics.
