Helioelectricity

The generation of electricity directly from sunlight, primarily through the use of photovoltaic cells or concentrated solar power systems. This renewable energy source converts solar radiation into electrical current. Photovoltaic panels are rated in watts (W) or kilowatts (kW) based on their peak power output.
