Solar power

The generation of electricity or heat from sunlight. This energy conversion occurs either directly through photovoltaic panels, which convert light into electrical current, or indirectly through concentrated solar power systems that use mirrors to focus sunlight to heat a fluid. Solar power is a renewable energy source with applications ranging from residential electricity generation to large-scale power plants.
