Power inverter

An electronic device that converts direct current (DC) electricity from a source, such as a battery or solar panel, into alternating current (AC) electricity. This conversion allows DC power to be used with standard AC appliances and equipment. Inverters are characterized by their output waveform, such as pure sine wave or modified sine wave.
