Circuit
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001122
A closed loop or path through which an electric current can flow. A simple circuit consists of a power source, conductors, and a load that consumes energy, all connected to form a complete path from the source's positive terminal to its negative terminal. Circuits are classified by their connections, such as series or parallel, and by the nature of the current they carry, either alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC).
