PCE
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004186
The ratio, expressed as a percentage, of the electrical power produced by a photovoltaic device to the amount of light energy incident upon its surface. This Power Conversion Efficiency (PCE) measures how effectively a solar cell converts sunlight into electricity. The standard test conditions for measuring PCE are defined by an irradiance of 1000 W/m², a cell temperature of 25°C, and a specific solar spectrum known as Air Mass 1.5.
