Vmp
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006469
The specific operating voltage at which a photovoltaic (PV) cell or module produces its greatest electrical power output under standard test conditions. This value, the Voltage at Maximum Power, is located on the current-voltage (I-V) curve at the point where the product of voltage and current is highest. The Vmp is listed on a solar panel's data sheet along with the current at maximum power (Imp) and open-circuit voltage (Voc).
