A graphical desktop-sharing system, Virtual Network Computing, used to remotely control another computer's screen, keyboard, and mouse from a separate device. In automotive diagnostics and development, technicians use VNC to access and operate a vehicle's infotainment system or diagnostic computer from a workshop laptop without being physically inside the car. The system operates on the Remote Framebuffer (RFB) protocol.
