An accumulation of logging debris, such as branches, tops, and unmerchantable logs, left on the forest floor after timber harvesting. These piles can pose a fire hazard and impede regeneration if not managed. Jackpots are often burned or chipped to reduce fuel loads and prepare the site for reforestation.
