Kilodegree
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003180
A unit equal to one thousand degrees, applied to temperature in degrees Celsius or to plane angle in degrees of arc. It is rarely used on its own, since temperatures and angles are written in plain degrees, but it appears in compound units such as the kilodegree day, which sums the daily departures of temperature from a base value over a period.
