Kilosecond

A unit of time equal to one thousand seconds. The second is the base unit of time in the International System of Units, defined by the radiation frequency of the cesium-133 atom. Kiloseconds are used for measuring durations in scientific experiments, industrial processes, and astronomical observations where longer time scales are involved.
