Megasecond

A unit of time equal to one million seconds, which is about 11.6 days. The second is the base unit of time in the International System of Units, defined by the radiation frequency of the cesium-133 atom. Megaseconds appear mainly as the accumulated exposure time of deep X-ray astronomy surveys, which run to several megaseconds.
