Megapascal

A unit of pressure equal to one million pascals. The pascal is the SI derived unit of pressure, defined as one newton per square meter. Megapascals are commonly used in engineering and materials science to express high pressures, such as the yield strength of materials, hydraulic system pressures, or the compressive strength of concrete.
