Megaohm
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003594
A unit of electrical resistance equal to one million ohms. The ohm is the SI derived unit of electrical resistance, defined as the resistance between two points of a conductor when a constant potential difference of one volt, applied to these points, produces a current of one ampere. Megaohms are used to measure very high resistances, such as in insulation testing or high-impedance circuits.
