Nano-volt
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003844
A unit of electrical potential difference or electromotive force in the International System of Units (SI) equal to one billionth (10^-9) of a volt. This very small voltage is encountered in sensitive electronic measurements, such as those involving low-noise amplifiers or precise sensor outputs. Specialized instruments are required to accurately detect and measure signals at the nanovolt level.
