Nano-farad

A unit of electrical capacitance in the International System of Units (SI) equal to one billionth (10^-9) of a farad. This small unit is commonly used to specify the capacitance of electronic components such as capacitors in integrated circuits and other compact devices. A typical ceramic capacitor might have a capacitance in the range of nanofarads.
