Abfarad

A unit of electrical capacitance in the CGS electromagnetic system of units, representing the capacitance of a capacitor that, when charged with one abcoulomb of electricity, has a potential difference of one abvolt between its plates. This unit is significantly larger than the more commonly used farad. One abfarad is equivalent to 10^9 farads.
