Nano-ohm
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003840
A unit of electrical resistance equal to one billionth (10^-9) of an ohm. This extremely small value is relevant when measuring the resistance of highly conductive materials, such as superconductors, or the contact resistance at electrical connections and within integrated circuits. Specialized four-terminal sensing instruments, known as nanohmmeters or micro-ohmmeters, are required to accurately measure resistance at this low level.
