Kilomole

A unit of amount of substance equal to one thousand moles. The mole is the SI base unit for amount of substance, defined as the number of constituent particles (atoms, molecules, ions, etc.) equal to Avogadro's number. Kilomoles are used in large-scale chemical engineering and industrial processes to quantify the quantities of reactants and products.
