A vehicle configured with the steering wheel and driver's controls on the left side, designed for driving on the right-hand side of the road. This layout is the standard for the majority of the world's automotive markets. Left-hand drive is mandated in North America, China, and most of continental Europe, in contrast to the right-hand drive systems used in the UK, Australia, and Japan.
