Mogul

A steam locomotive wheel arrangement characterized by three pairs of driving wheels and a two-wheel leading truck, designated as 2-6-0 in the Whyte notation. This configuration provided good traction for freight and mixed traffic. Mogul locomotives were widely used in North America and other parts of the world during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
