Bo-Bo

A wheel arrangement classification for locomotives, indicating two independent bogies (Bo) each with two powered axles (Bo). Each axle in a 'Bo' bogie is driven by its own traction motor, providing good adhesion and flexibility on curved tracks. This configuration is widely used in electric and diesel-electric locomotives for both freight and passenger service.
