Locker loop

A small loop of fabric sewn into the neck or yoke of a garment, most frequently a shirt or jacket. It provides a means to hang the garment on a hook without using a hanger, preventing wrinkles in the main body of the fabric. Originally associated with American Ivy League style shirts from the mid-20th century, the feature is now found on a variety of casual and outerwear garments.
