Mag wheel

A lightweight wheel cast or forged from a magnesium alloy, originally developed for racing applications to reduce unsprung weight. The term is now colloquially applied to any non-steel, stylish aftermarket wheel, including those made from aluminum alloys. True magnesium wheels are lighter and stronger than aluminum but are more susceptible to corrosion and more expensive to produce.
