Microkatal

A unit of catalytic activity, representing one millionth (10^-6) of a katal. The katal is the SI unit for measuring the activity of an enzyme or other catalyst, defined as the amount of catalyst that converts one mole of reactant per second. This unit is frequently used in biochemical assays and pharmaceutical research to quantify enzyme activity at low concentrations.
