Nanokatal

A unit of catalytic activity equal to one billionth (10^-9) of a katal. The katal is the SI unit for catalytic activity, defined as the amount of enzyme that converts one mole of substrate per second. Nanokatals are used to measure very small rates of enzymatic reactions, particularly in biochemistry and clinical diagnostics.
