Mole run

A small, unlined bore or channel created underground by a soil displacement hammer, also known as a piercing tool or mole. This trenchless installation method is used for laying pipes, conduits, or cables without excavating an open trench. The tool pneumatically hammers its way through the ground, compacting the surrounding soil to form a stable passage with a diameter typically ranging from 50 to 150 millimeters.
