Negative logic

A convention in digital electronics where the lower voltage level represents a logic '1' (true) and the higher voltage level represents a logic '0' (false). This is the inverse of positive logic, where a higher voltage signifies '1'. Negative logic is sometimes used in specific circuit designs or for compatibility with certain components.
