Offset time
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003977
A specific time delay intentionally introduced into a system to shift the timing of a signal or event relative to a reference point. In digital communications, it is used to synchronize data streams or to manage the timing of signals arriving from different paths to prevent interference.
