Burst mode

A method of data transmission or operation where data is sent or processed in short, rapid sequences or packets, separated by periods of inactivity. This mode allows for high peak data rates over shared channels or when a device needs to quickly transfer a block of data. It is commonly used in memory access, network communications, and digital cameras.
