PCC

A specialized roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) ship designed exclusively for transporting new, unboxed automobiles and trucks. A Pure Car Carrier (PCC) features multiple decks, both fixed and hoistable, connected by internal ramps to allow vehicles to be driven on and off the vessel. These ships are distinct from Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs), which have higher deck clearances to accommodate larger vehicles like construction equipment.
