Pin header

An electrical connector consisting of one or more rows of male pins spaced at a standard interval and mounted on a circuit board. These connectors provide a point for attaching jumper wires, ribbon cables, or female socket connectors, facilitating modular connections between boards or to external devices. The most common pin spacing, or pitch, is 2.54 millimeters (0.1 inches).
