Safety pin

A type of pin featuring a simple clasp or guard that covers the sharp point, preventing accidental pricking and keeping the pin securely fastened. It consists of a simple spring mechanism that holds the pointed end within a protective cap. Safety pins are commonly used for temporarily fastening fabric, securing garments, or as a decorative accessory.
