Polarization charge
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004397
An induced electric charge that appears on the surfaces of a dielectric material when it is placed in an external electric field. This charge arises from the slight displacement of positive and negative charges within the material's atoms or molecules. It contributes to the material's dielectric constant.
