Parts per trillion (PPT) represents a concentration unit indicating one part of a substance in one trillion parts of a solution or mixture. This unit is employed for measuring extremely low concentrations of contaminants or trace elements in materials or environmental samples. One PPT is equivalent to 10^-12.
