Printing paper

Any grade of paper manufactured or converted specifically for the transfer of ink from a printing press or digital printer. These papers are engineered with specific properties for brightness, opacity, smoothness, and ink absorption to suit a particular printing process like offset, gravure, or digital. Paper is classified by its basis weight, measured in pounds per ream of a standard-sized sheet.
