Rosin paper

A heavy-duty, resin-impregnated paper used as an underlayment or protective barrier in construction. It is commonly placed over subflooring before installing finished flooring to provide a slip sheet, reduce squeaks, and offer some moisture resistance. Rosin paper is also used as a temporary protective covering for surfaces during construction.
