Propeller shaft

A rotating mechanical component that transmits torque and rotational power from a vehicle's transmission or engine to the differential or other drive components. It is typically a hollow steel tube with universal joints at each end to accommodate changes in angle and length. Propeller shafts are common in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles.
