Cardan shaft

A mechanical component that transmits torque and rotational motion between two shafts that are not in line with each other. It incorporates one or more universal joints to accommodate angular misalignment and changes in shaft length during operation. This type of shaft is commonly used in automotive drivetrains and industrial machinery.
