Seat lock

A mechanical device that secures a valve's seating component in place, preventing it from rotating or shifting during operation. This mechanism maintains the integrity of the seal between the valve disc or plug and the valve seat. Seat locks are common in gate valves and globe valves to maintain consistent sealing performance.
