Semisheer

Describing a fabric that is partially transparent, allowing some light to pass through but obscuring direct visibility. This characteristic is achieved through a relatively open weave or by using fine, translucent fibers. Semisheer fabrics are often used for curtains, blouses, or overlays where a delicate, airy quality is desired.
