Leno

A type of weave characterized by two warp yarns twisting around the weft yarn, creating a strong, open, and sheer fabric. This weaving technique prevents slippage of the warp and weft, making the fabric stable despite its open construction. Leno weaves are commonly used for mosquito netting, fruit bags, and certain types of curtains.
