Twill

A textile weave pattern characterized by diagonal parallel ribs. This distinct pattern forms by interlacing warp and weft threads in an offset manner, where the weft thread passes over one or more warp threads and then under two or more, shifting the intersection point in each successive row. Denim fabric is a common example of a twill weave.
